Country Spunk

My mom & I started this business in 2018. We kept trying to find country home decor for a reasonable price and kept coming up short. So, we decided to start making some... Handcrafted and affordable country, farmhouse, and rustic decor and more and at the same time give as much to charity as we were able to, with or without a profit...

We had six really great and fun years working together, and we almost always donated more than we brought in, but every minute together was worth it. I lost her October 2024 to a crazy fast triple threat of cancer that came out of nowhere. 

I love my mom very much and will miss her so much so, that I don't want to craft without her, so I am letting go our handcrafting business. She came up with the name Country Spunk, so I am keeping that in her honor.

I am moving on to creating illustrations and independently publishing books, thanks to my dear friend and author Patty Wiseman. I am glad to say my mom got to see the beginning of the first book I illustrated for. 

I am even prouder to say, after moms passing we donated over 6 thousand dollars worth of clothing, furniture, and home items to Hopes Closet, a charity for the Women's Shelter in Longview, Texas. I know she was smiling from up above.
