New in the year 2026
2025 brought me a lot of success in publishing, illustrations and even as an author of my first 3 books. I have worked with some wonderful authors, illustrators and self-publishers to finish out the year with awards and an ever-growing business. I even started a blog, talking about the great projects I have worked on, in hopes of inspiring others.
I would like to give thanks to the people who made 2025 such a success... Miss Patty Wiseman (author), Ms. Tracey D. Hill (author/publisher), Ms. Lainey Sagraves (illustrator), Ms. Angie Birmingham (author), Mr. K.D. McLemore (author), and Ms. Ruthie Almond (author/publisher).
My mom & I started Country Spunk in 2018. We had six really great and fun years working together, and we almost always donated more than we brought in, but every minute together was worth it. I lost her October 2024 to a crazy fast triple threat of cancer that came out of nowhere. She came up with the name Country Spunk, which I am keeping in her honor. "I love you, mama."
